Professor Freysdottir runs her lab in close collaboration with Professor Hardardottir. Their research focuses on resolution of inflammation and the effects of nutrition and natural products on inflammation and resolution of inflammation. They use a murine antigen-induced inflammation model in mice and cells (dendritic cells, T cells, keratinocytes, NK cells and neutrophils) in culture.
